Speaking

Speaking in public is high on the list of activities people fear the most.  The majority place it in the top three, many place it first - above spiders and heights.  When asked by opinion pollsters, most people say they would rather die than speak in public - although they may reconsider their answer the next time they attend a funeral!

Yet, even though we live in a new age of electronic communication, more and more people find they need public speaking and communication skills to succeed in many areas of their lives, particularly in the workplace.  To get to the top in the 21st Century, in every workplace, excellence as a speaker is a vital skill.  For those in public life, the ability to speak well and engagingly in public is non-negotiable - they have to have it - whether it be for parliament, the boardroom, the pulpit, television or the open air.

Even though our desks today are cluttered with computers and our pockets full of them, our careers can be made or broken depending upon our ability to stand in front of an audience and speak.  That's just the way it is.

And we must speak coherently, engagingly and, most important of all, we must speak in such a way that our audience buys both us and what we offer them, whether our audience is five or five thousand.

Even socially, public speaking is now more important than ever before. Whether we like it or not, other people make decisions about us within seconds of meeting us by the way we dress and present ourselves and by the way we speak.

So, how do you speak?  How do you speak to an audience?  How do you speak to people you meet socially?  Where is your career going?  Could you improve your prospects by becoming a more engaging, entertaining and polished speaker?  Yes, you could!

SpeakMoveShake can help you reach your full potential.  We can help you achieve the very best in your life, both for yourself and for your dependant loved-ones.  So call us - now!
